ELFT has great pleasure in confirming the appointment of Dr Navina Evans as the Trust’s new Chief Executive Officer. Dr Evans will take over from Dr Robert Dolan, the current Chief Executive, when he retires in July 2016.

We are an ambitious and successful organisation and Dr Evans brings the right combination of experience, expertise and values to lead the Trust into its next period of development.She is currently our Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Operations and therefore already has considerable experience in supporting ELFT to deliver the highest quality care for our patients.I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Dolan for his dedication and commitment to ELFT over the last 10 years as Chief Executive. His leadership skills have helped the organisation become one of the best mental health and community care providers in the country.Finally I would like to thank all the service users, Governors, staff and partners who have been involved in the CEO recruitment. ”
Dr Evans said “Dr Dolan has been a formidable leader, supporting and leading ELFT through so much over the last few years. I can truly say he has been an inspiration to me and I am extremely proud to take on the role as CEO of the Trust. I am looking forward to working with staff and patients to continue our successful journey delivering innovative and high quality patient care.”
Dr Evans was appointed as Deputy CEO in February 2015 having been Director of Operations at ELFT since 2011. Prior to this she was Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Lead Clinician for Newham Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and then Clinical Director for CAMHS. She has previous involvement in Medical Education for the Trust and at Barts and the London Medical School, been involved in the work of the London Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and most recently in developing partnerships around integrated care. Her clinical experience is in psychiatry and paediatrics.
