The Trust’s pioneering Service User-Led Accreditation programme has been shortlisted for two Patient Experience Network (PEN) awards.


The team have been nominated in the Measuring, Reporting and Acting category and Using insight for improvement category of the national awards.


This year’s awards will be virtual and celebrations will run throughout next week, starting on Monday (September 14), with entries showcased and category winners announced daily.


The Trust will be involved on Wednesday (September 16).


Service User-Led Accreditation is ELFT’s  first internal accreditation programme and has been shaped in partnership by service users, carers and staff who formulated a set of standards by which all services within ELFT can be evaluated and awarded the appropriate level of achievement.


“We are tremendously proud to have been shortlisted and would like to thank each and every service user involved and every team that has registered to take part in the programme,” said Quality Assurance Manager Simona Shaygan, who led the development and implementation of the project.
