#ELFTin1Voice Q&A

Who can join the sessions?

The sessions are open to everyone who wants to have some fun singing well known songs! That includes service users, staff, friends and family – all you need to do is sign up using the google forms link (above).

Why do I have to sign up?

We’ll be sending a link for the sessions to everyone who signs up. The link is the ‘key’ to getting into the sessions and we want to make sure that everyone who wants to sing has their own ‘key’.

What happens after I sign up?

Put the dates into your diary so you don’t forget them!

We’ll send a link to join the session in a separate email the day before each session.

What online system will be used for the session?

Zoom. We will send you the link and password for this the day before each session.

Joining a ZOOM meeting is VERY SIMPLE! You don’t need a Zoom account, and the software you need to join the meeting automatically downloads when you click on the link.

You can invite colleagues, friends or family but they have to sign up on the google form to ensure security and safety of everyone in the group. Please give people the google form link, not the zoom link. Thank you.

What equipment will I need?

You can use any of the following:

  • Laptop
  • Computer with webcam
  • Tablet
  • Phone

If you have a pair of headphones they’re useful, but you can also just use your computer/phone speakers if not.

What songs will we be singing?

We’ll be singing well known, popular songs that will be fun and uplifting as well as reflecting on experiences of the last 6 months.

What if I don’t know the words for the songs?

Words and lyrics will be e-mailed to you before the sessions. If you need them to be printed but don't have a printer please email alexander.smith19@nhs.net and he will send you them in the mail.

Any queries, please email alexander.smith19@nhs.net
