A supermarket roadshow encouraging shoppers to discuss mental health has been held in Bedfordshire.

Bedfordshire Wellbeing Service staff have been touring the county over the last few weeks, talking to members of the public about the free and confidential local NHS service.

The wellbeing service is provided by the Trust and can help people tackle a range of issues including stress, depression and feelings of anxiety.

The service also helps people experiencing health anxiety, social phobia, panic, agoraphobia and OCD.

One in six Bedfordshire adults are expected to experience mental ill health at some time in their life.

The supermarket drop-in sessions were organised in partnership with Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Events were held at Tesco in Bedford, Sainsbury’s in Dunstable and Asda in Biggleswade.
