Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2018 will take place from 26 February to 4 March.
Eating disorders can have a devastating impact on the lives of sufferers and the people around them. ELFT is supporting the Sock-it to Eating Disorders campaign run by Beat, the UK’s eating disorder charity.Central Bedfordshire Governor Hannah Brown, has personal experience of battling anorexia and is encouraging staff, service users and the public to support the awareness week.
She is a law graduate from Langford in Bedfordshire and provides peer support for anyone suffering from an eating disorder through aneartohear.co.uk
Hannah wants to promote open and healthy discussion about the subject and has organised a ‘Sock it with a Coffee’ event in Stotfold (details below).
