Shaping better flexible working was the theme for the first in a series of ‘Advise Navina’ sessions held for colleagues to share views with the Trust’s Chief Executive.
Dr Navina Evans has launched the informal sessions so she can hear first-hand the views and experiences of colleagues as part of her work to shape a Trust-wide approach to key themes.
Staff from services including CAMHS, admin and community health attended the first workshop at The Rufus Centre in Bedfordshire on November 6.
The group discussed existing flexible working arrangements, how it benefits staff and their patients and how flexible working can improve.
“I was blown away by the energy, engagement and ideas from everyone in the room to help shape better flexible working while maintaining complete focus on maintaining services,” said Navina.
“I love the commitment of colleagues across the Trust in constantly wanting to improve how we do things. I feel very lucky to be Chief Executive for such an amazing organisation.”
