They have been able to secure funding to provide remote support to Deaf people throughout all of England and support their local services to provide a complete multidisciplinary package to guide the client through their dark chapter. This is an amazing opportunity in providing specialised IDVA and YPVA support to clients outside of London and the South East, which we have not been able to provide.
They also offer training on ‘Domestic Abuse in the Deaf Community’ via Zoom which has been running successfully during the past few months. The sessions give an insight to the Deaf Community, their culture and tips to aid communication.
The session is FREE and flexible to the time you have available. If you are interested, contact SignHealth.
