The Service delivers primary health care service in Newham for people who do not have a permanent GP and who have experienced difficulties in registering locally with a GP. It includes a ‘New Entrants Screening Service’ for new arrivals to the UK and a Homeless Service for people without a permanent residence.
The Centre Manor Park is the main site for the practice; Vicarage Lane Health Centre is the branch site. Patients registered can be seen across both sites wherever appointments are available and thus offering more choice to patients.
Our clinical team consists of the following:
- General Practitioners
- Nurse Practitioner
- Practice Nurse
- Health Care Assistant
- Nurse for Homeless people
- New Entrants Nurse
Patients have a choice of which clinician they want to see male/female. GPs can refer patients in-house to other GPs who have specialist areas of interest e.g. Dr Kensah – Dermatology and Dr Trathen – Respiratory medicine.
8:00am to 6:30pm – Monday to Friday
We have HUB Extended Hours service (Monday - Friday, 6.30am to 9.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm). Registered patients will have access to see a GP when their surgery is closed.
We have weekly Citizen Advice Bureau clinics which registered patients can access.
