ELFT is committed to developing a culture of engagement based on frequent open discussions. An appraisal is NOT about recording two meetings across the year, but rather a process where managers and staff develop and create an environment of collaboration and mutual respect, with regular contact, to deliver on the Trust Strategy.
Given the on-going pandemic, an appraisal conversation between a manager and a staff is a key way to re-connect, and reflect on changes in services and at an individual level. It is a chance to recalibrate and develop the skills needed for the changes the pandemic has brought.
Process
- Staff and manager set the date for the appraisal meeting (minimum 10 days’ notice)
-
Both parties prepare for the appraisal meeting and pre-populate the Appraisal form on ELA Appraisal meetings held - ELFT Appraisal Form 2022 agreed and completed IN FULL.
