Our Membership Engagement Plan

Our plan is the result of listening to many voices, including members, service users, governors and Board members.

We have been working hard to create a more meaningful membership. One that supports the current values and visions of both ELFT and reflects what matters to the wider population we serve.

Join free now: become a Trust member

We welcome members from anywhere in England, but especially the areas we serve: Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, City of London, Hackney, Luton, Newham and Tower Hamlets. The minimum age requirement is 12.

Trusttalk Magazine

Our magazine 'Trusttalk' is produced on a quarterly basis. The publication is a great way for members and the public to learn about the key stories through the Trust.

Members Pop-Ups

Members Pop-ups are a new type of meeting that will be held in your locality in conjunction with another local groups or hospitals already running in your community.

If you are aware of any community events we could come along to, please get in touch.

Foundation Trust Membership

Foundation Trusts are a specific type of NHS Trust. Foundation Trusts have a duty to engage with their local communities and encourage local people to become members. They are still a part of the National Health Service but have more autonomy in return for local accountability.
