Corporate Services Directors
Marie Price joined the Trust in October 2025 and is the Joint Director of Corporate Governance, working across East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) and North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT).
Before taking up this role, Marie led the corporate governance function at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. Prior to that, she was a director at the North East London Integrated Care Board, overseeing corporate governance, communications, engagement and complaints.
Marie has spent the majority of her career in north east London, working in primary care trusts and clinical commissioning groups as director of corporate affairs, which included leadership on governance, risk, board support, legal and statutory compliance as well as communications and engagement.
Earlier in her career, Marie worked in the supported housing sector, working with young people, adults with mental health needs, people experiencing homelessness, and ex offenders.
David Stevens is a Chartered Engineer and joined the trust in 2021 from University College London. David has strategic and operational leadership for the estates directorate across all boroughs covered by the Trust, and is the lead director for the Trust’s capital development and PFI programme.
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), a Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management, and a Certified Fellow of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management. David is Vice President of CIBSE and Chair of the CIBSE Facilities Management Group, and has over 30 years’ experience in design, construction, operations, and strategic planning within the built environment sector.
David sits on a number of industry committees and awards judging panels, and is an advocate for best practice, technical improvement, and inclusion in the built environment.
David has an MBA, MEng and BEng (HONS) in Building Services Engineering . David is also a European Engineer (Eur Ing).

Mary Brazier is the Director of Social Work for the Trust. She has extensive experience as a practitioner, operational manager and professional lead within mental health services.
After undertaking a first degree in Social Policy, Mary completed her Masters in Social Work and the Diploma in Social Work at the University of Leicester in 1998, she went on to practice as a mental health social worker in older adult and adults of working age CMHTs, before moving into Operational Management, initially leading an Older Adult CMHT, before moving to lead Criminal Justice Mental Health and Assertive Outreach services. In her Criminal Justice role, she undertook the review of Criminal Justice Liaison Services across the East of England as part of the ‘Bradley Report’ published in 2009.
Mary then took on an operational management role in a new Trust with responsibility for various community mental health and inpatient services across the organisation, leading organisational change and service redesign programmes and restructuring services to meet local need, before moving to a Social Work professional leadership role in the same NHS Trust.
Mary qualified as an Approved Social Worker in 2001 and practiced as an ASW and AMHP until 2002, and continues to have a strong interest in the application of legal frameworks. Mary completed the King's Fund ‘Leading for Quality’ programme, part of the NHS High Potential Leaders programme in 2010-11. Mary chairs the England Mental Health group for the British Association of Social Workers and in that role, has the opportunity to influence the national policy agenda for Mental Health Social Work, contributing to a number of national working groups and consultations.
Mary joined ELFT as the Director of Social Work in 2022. She is passionate about raising the profile of Social Work within the NHS, ensuring that Social Work and Social Workers are able to contribute their knowledge, skills and professional values to the organisation and the communities we serve.
Outside of her professional role, Mary recently completed an MA in Second World War studies, completing a thesis on the role of Psychology and Psychiatry in RAF Bomber Command. She continues to speak at both academic conferences and public events about mental health in the armed forces in the Second World War.
Sasha is the Director of Communications and Engagement at East London NHS Foundation Trust.
She has held senior leadership positions at the UK House of Commons and the Department for Work and Pensions. She brings extensive experience in advising executive teams, leading multidisciplinary communications functions, and providing strategic counsel during crises and periods of political, operational, or reputational complexity.
