Community Cooking Classes
Bags of Taste
Offering residents of Newham a free, delivered ingredients bag and course materials. Containing food for seven meals, recipes, and everything needed to participate in a two week course. Visit bagsoftaste.org to sign up for free cooking courses.

Libraries
To access free broadband through Newham Libraries, you need to be a library card holder. To apply for a library card, which gives you access to all libraries in Newham, apply online or visit your local library. To collect library card take proof of current address.
Free SIM cards for low income households
Newham Libraries are now part of The National Databank network which offers free SIM cards provided by O2, Three and Vodafone. All libraries in Newham are participating in this scheme, please be aware that these free cards are subject to availability. To use this scheme, all you need is a phone that is unlocked and can work with any of these providers. To access the scheme, you must be over 18 and a Newham resident. To be eligible at least one of these statements must be true: > Have no access or not very good access to the internet at home > Have no or not very good access to the internet when away from the home > Not be able to afford existing monthly contract or top up Please visit your local library for more information.
