The majority of the new starters make up two new Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) in Houghton Regis and East Luton. The Trust's MHSTs work in local neighbourhood teams, helping to provide coordinated, holistic support around children, young people, and their families, with our multiagency partners.
This staff expansion reflects the service's ongoing commitment to improving access to timely, effective mental health care to our communities andproviding high quality training for our staff.
A special thank you goes to Clinical Team Lead, Laura Gill and Integrated Schools' Lead, Amanda Wallace, whose hard work were central to attracting and recruiting the new colleagues. They couldn't have done this without the help of CAMHS colleagues Helen White, Nancy King, Dilip Patel, Ruth Banton, Callum Syrett and Harley Ladbury.
The service is excited to see the positive impact that the new recruits will have and wish them all a very warm welcome to the service.
