The team has been recognised for quality and consistency of care provided to the local community. East London NHS Foundation Trust’s (ELFT) service received the recognition from the Memory Services National Accreditation Programme at RCPsych on 11 December 2025, with the award title lasting until 25 September 2028.
This marks the ninth consecutive year the service has achieved this national accreditation, reflecting the sustained dedication, teamwork, and professionalism of the whole service.
The service’s Operational Healthcare Lead, Adenike Saidu, said: “This is a significant milestone and a well-deserved recognition of the exceptional work the team does. It highlights everyone’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred dementia care, and to supporting service users and their families with compassion and excellence.
She added: “The achievement is a testament to the resilience, collaboration and passion demonstrated by staff every day.”
