A Community Children’s Matron at ELFT has been named as one of 75 nurses and midwives to have made a significant contribution to their services.
Nursing Times, one of the UK’s leading publications for nursing research and best practice in the profession, has celebrated the 75th birthday of the NHS by listing 75 ‘rising stars’ from across the country. It has been using the build-up to the anniversary – on the 5th July – to name 15 different nurses and midwives in the lead up to the special day.
Rebecca Daniels, who is a Community Children’s Matron, has been named for her caring support for babies, children and young people (BCYP) with life limiting care needs at home and at school.
A full list of Nursing Times’ chosen nurses and midwives can be found here, and a profile of Rebecca and her work is available here.
Congrats Rebecca!
