Compass is a finalist in the Best Not for Profit Working in Partnership with the NHS category of the HSJ Partnership Awards 2023.

The Compass team support communities across the geographies of North East London, north Central London and Bedfordshire and Luton

They work with ELFT to bridge the gap between voluntary, community, and social enterprise organisations (VCSEs) and healthcare services by building capacity in the sector, improving the ability of VCSEs to engage with the Trust, and facilitating partnership working.

Between July 2021 and July 2022 Compass ran 10 procurement programmes on behalf of ELFT, with more than £6.6m funding awarded for 124 VCSE contracts and projects across City & Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Luton, Central Bedfordshire and Bedford.

“Compass Wellbeing are tireless in their mission to empower our communities,” said Dr Mohit Venkataram, the Trust’s Director of Commercial Development.

“I am incredibly proud to see their outstanding work recognised by HSJ Partnership Awards judges.”

The HSJ Partnership Awards celebrate the crucial contributions of the private and third sector in strengthening the UK’s healthcare system.
The awards will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Evolution London.

•    Compass Wellbeing has also been named winner of the Innovation in Supporting NHS Trusts category at the Forward Healthcare Awards 2022.
