London Pride took place over the weekend on Saturday 4 July, with over one million people in attendance. ELFT was proudly represented by a large group, with around 75 members of the LGBTQIA+ Network marching through central London – including travelling on an open-top double-decker bus!
The parade began at Hyde Park Corner, where members of the ELFT LGBTQIA+ Network gathered to decorate the bus and create their own signs, expressing support for the LGBTQIA+ community from a healthcare perspective.
The route passed through Trafalgar Square, where ELFT received many cheers from the crowds lining the streets, before finishing in Whitehall.
The day was filled with a strong sense of acceptance, joy, and, most importantly, Pride.
