More than 500 people gathered for the annual fair in Mile End Hospital Gardens on Tuesday 15 July.
The event was also used for the Tower Hamlets Integrated Care Awards presentation, organised to recognise the work of services in improving the health and wellbeing of people across the borough.
Tower Hamlets Together is a partnership involving health and social care organisations across the borough, working closer together to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Tower Hamlets.
In the afternoon, TH GP Care Group Chief Financial Officer, Zainab Arian, and GP Phillip Bennett Richards announced the THT ‘Integrated Care’ Award winners and those recognised as Highly Commended. Certificates were handed out across six categories from a humongous 73 nominations, with some services and individuals being nominated more than once. This showed how much staff are appreciated by their colleagues and peers!
