No Immediate Change for Patients
For patients of the practice, there will be no immediate change in the services provided. They will see the same staff, access appointments in the same way and receive services from the practice in the way they do now. The team's enthusiastic, innovative and thoughtful care will be unchanged. The Cauldwell Medical Centre is a well-established GP Practice and is rated “Good” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The lunch on 28 January was a chance to reflect on how far the team has come, the changes they have instigated and the lively team spirit they have cultivated. Edwin was accompanied by Irfaan Ibne, Associate Director of Primary Care, and Sarah Barnett, Project Lead, who have both worked in the background to ensure the transfer to The DeParys Group goes smoothly.
Thank you
Edwin thanked the staff for all they have done in their six years with ELFT. He said, "Since joining the Trust in 2020, you have consistently demonstrated openness to change, the courage to try new approaches, and a disciplined commitment to using quality improvement to make care better for patients. What stands out most is the strength of your team culture supportive, forward-looking and grounded in patient need. You should be proud of what you have built together over the last six years. On behalf of the ELFT Board I want to thank you for your contribution and professionalism, and we wish you every success as you move into the next chapter of your primary care journey."
