The Health Tech Newspaper (HTN) Awards 2022 sees ImproveWell, a digital solution pioneered and shaped in partnership with the Trust, chosen as a finalist for the ‘major project go live’ category.
The HTN online newspaper is read by tens of thousands of health tech and digital specialists every week and is one of the leading specialist journals in its field.
Describing why ImproveWell made it through as a finalist, the HTN says that:
“ImproveWell’s solution creates the right environment for wellbeing by empowering staff and key stakeholders to drive change.
“It has spread from supporting ELFT’s local programme to national and international collaboratives.”
SInce 2019, ELFT’s Enjoying Work programme has engaged over 70 staff teams using quality improvement to understand what makes a good day at work and what can be done to create and measure what people find brings them joy at work.
The partnership with ImproveWell facilitated the collation of ideas and data, allowing good practice to spread.
Following from this, the Royal College of Psychiatrists applied the ImproveWell platform to their own national Enjoying Work initiative.
This was led by ELFT’s Chief Quality Officer Dr Amar Shah in his role as national improvement lead for mental health at RCPsych.
Then in September 2021, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) made the ImproveWell solution internationally available in a global joy in work programme.
On being named an HTN Award finalist, ImproveWell’s CEO and Co-founder, Lara Mott said:
