The magnificent total of £1,200 was raised for the ELFT Charity at a raffle at the 2025 Staff Awards Ceremony and Party on 16 October.
The lucky winner of the Nespresso Coffee Maker was Glenn Mitchell, ELFT's Head of Communication. He was delighted: "This is was an unexpected bonus after a great night at the Staff Awards. I do like a fancy cup of coffee. I will savour every cup happy in the knowledge that the ELFT Charity has benefited!"
ELFT Charity lead, Tina Bixby, and her team were highly persuasive throughout the night urging guests to buy raffle tickets. Tina said, "We’re delighted with how our very first raffle went, raising an amazing £1,200! A huge thank you to everyone who bought a ticket at the awards ceremony and to Cathy and the raffle team and their not-so-subtle approach to selling tickets! Your support means so much to us and will make a real difference. We can’t wait to do it all again!"
There were 15 prizes to be won including Pandora silver jewellery, a DKNY handbag, Molton Brown goodies, a hamper, a Ted Baker bag, a Nike Sports Holdall and other items. Special thanks to Cathy Lilley who conjured this array of prizes.
The responses from raffle winners were heartwarming:
"Omg, that's amazing that we were able to raise so much money , I can't believe I won a hamper!! That's amazing."
"Wow!!! I am so grateful (pstt….I’ve never won a thing before!) Thank you so much."
The winning numbers were chosen by a digital number selector and all the lucky winners have been notified.
