Bedfordshire Consultant Clinical Psychologist Dr Sara Rassool and Tower Hamlets Cancer Care Navigator Nichola Murphy were invited by Akshata Murty in recognition of their work across the Trust and Macmillan.

They joined people with lived experience, professionals and supporters of Macmillan to discuss collective experiences.

The coffee morning raises millions for the charity to support people on all care pathways including end of life care.

“We met some amazing people and heard about some great community projects,” said Sara.

“Had quite a good chat with Akshata Murty too!”

Nichola said: "It was a pleasure to meet so many storytellers' (patients) that have received advice and care from Macmillan and now they are giving back to the community."

The coffee morning was hosted at No.10 on Thursday September 28, 2023.
