UK Black Pride is the world's largest pride celebration for LGBTQIA+ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Latin American & Middle Eastern-descent and is a safe space to celebrate diverse sexualities, gender identities, gender expressions & cultures.
This year was the 20th anniversary of the event creating a safe space for the community to come together.
The Trust's network, (pictured left to right) Tiffer Hutchings, Naomi Rule, Diana Adu and Juliana Ansah were joined by other staff and excited attendees engaging in the ELFT stall throughout the hot day. The celebratory day was filled with musical performances, Caribbean food as well as food from all cultures, faith talks, and other informative stalls.

ELFT's stall included a bean bag throw game that engaged families - young and older, and a jenga game with a question on individual bricks. The prize of winning the games included fans available in different colours, branded wristbands, goodies, tote bags, and ELFT Pride t-shirts.
Tiffer Hutchings, Co-lead of the LGBTQIA+ Staff Network, said: "There was lots of engagement at the stall that's been really positive. We've been able to talk about psychological therapies and talking therapies with the community too."
Juliana Ansah, Head of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, said: "We've been coming to this annually and it's a wonderful celebration to see. ELFT are proud to support UK Black Pride and create a meaningful impact on LGBTQIA+ people of colour."
The Co-Leads also wanted to express their sincere gratitude for the generous giving of resources to the stall from fellow staff members. They said: "Special thanks to Annabelle Lambourn, Jillian Dabbs, Genevieve Degnan, Doris McMeel, Tina Bixby, the Tower Hamlets Crisis Pathway Team and the Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies reception team for being so kind in their sharing. The buzz around the stall was made possible because of these resources so a heartfelt thanks from us."
