Community Mental Health Survey 2025

How was your mental health care?

At East London Foundation NHS Trust, we believe providing high quality mental health care for each individual person is fundamentally important. Therefore, we are excited to announce that, in August, the NHS is again launching a major survey on people’s experiences of using mental health services. If you used services in April or May 2025, you could be invited to take part and give your feedback on the quality of support you received.

In last year’s survey, almost 15,000 adults aged 16 and over responded, who used the survey to tell us what is working well and what requires improvement.

Community Mental Health survey promotion

Participation is voluntary and all answers are confidential. If you’re invited to take part, your name, phone number, and postal address will only be used by the researchers for this survey.

Your information will not be shared with anyone else, and all published data is anonymised. This means that no one will be able to tell who provided which answers.

If you do not wish to take part, it will not affect the care you receive from the NHS. You can decide not to take part, or if you do not want to answer some of the questions, you can do so without giving a reason.

If you do not wish to take part, or for your details to be shared with researchers so you can be sent a questionnaire, or if you have any questions then please speak to your clinician.

The survey is being carried out by researchers from the Care Quality Commission and the Survey Coordination centre at Picker.

The results will be published on the CQC's website in spring 2026.
