Are you interested in learning about the latest research taking place in ELFT?

The Trust hosts an annual conference showcasing Research & Innovation @ ELFT.

The event, which is usually attended by hundreds of people, is open to all staff, service users, carers and members of the public. The half-day conference consists of brief presentations on a wide range of research projects that are being conducted in the Trust, ranging from epidemiological studies to clinical trials and qualitative work.

The 2025 conference will be held on Wednesday 3 December 2025. It is a half-day event starting at 12:30. 

Venue: Joseph Rotblat Lecture Theatre, Queen Mary University of London, Charterhouse Square, London, EC1M 6BQ.

Over the years, feedback regarding the ELFT Annual Conference has been overwhelmingly positive...

While for clinicians the event provided "a chance to consider applications of research into many areas of my work."

ELFT (previous) Non-Executive Director, Jenny Kay, said the conference was a "great afternoon. Very good to hear the breadth of research underway. [I am impressed with] the youth and talent of the presenters (and some very experienced presenters with great 'gravitas' too! I learnt a lot."
