The healthcare professional who provided supportive advice was knowledgeable and listened actively to identify my needs. This helped me to feel validated and provided a solid platform for gaining a much better understanding of my health problems.
They totally understood my illness and were empathetic and understanding throughout my treatment. I found both treatments really helpful and I feel I have better coping strategies to deal with my illness than I did before.
I felt completely understood at a time when no one else did and I was struggling to understand what was going on myself. I felt listened to and supported. There was tasks set and checked on which I like as I felt accountable.
The service was excellent. Staff were all very supportive and I felt genuinely cared about. Being listened to, taken seriously and treated with kindness has taught me to stop being so hard on myself, take my own symptoms seriously and advocate more effectively for myself. Overall my confidence and quality of life have significantly improved.

The COVID fatigue service was a lifeline to me in a very isolating system. They were patient, understanding and knowledgeable. They also responded to my difficulties with referrals to other services and information leaflets.
The post Covid Team supported me emotionally and treated me with dignity and respect whilst treating me for Long COVID. The team that supported me comprised of a multidisciplinary team, psychology, physiotherapy and occupational therapy . The team educated me on the effects of long COVID and how to treat the symptoms . The service is exceptional . The staff were knowledgeable and supportive throughout my treatment programme .
Kind, caring professional
This service is crucial for those sadly impacted by long COVID. I don't know what I'd have done without them and the Long COVID team. Thank you
I felt heard! I felt that someone understood my illness. She made me feel safe, secure and comfortable. I have learned so much from the experience and will continue to utilise these learnings in my daily life. I am incredibly grateful.
I was able to explain my symptoms and felt listened to. There was plenty of time, and I didn’t feel rushed
I feel listened to and understood.
I finally feel listened to. Whilst I know that I can’t get better, I know I can be supported to pace myself and learn to live with my condition. I have been asking for this help for nearly 2 years, and finally things are slotting into place. I feel people are listening to me and explaining to me why it’s happened to me and getting to know me as a person. Thank you!
I felt listened to, and for the first time in nearly five years, I was speaking to someone who appeared to understand Long Covid and not dismiss it. Answers were plentiful, personally directed and meaningful for a change. I felt like I actually have a genuine medical condition, which may not sound like much, but it has taken a lot of mental strain from me at last.
I feel like my illness is now being taken seriously, and I am not going mad. I feel supported and understood, and having used the private sector for healthcare up till recently, the NHS support has been head and shoulders above the support I received via private. Thank you.
