Ash Ward at Oakley Court is an acute inpatient psychiatric unit, providing care to working-age male adults from Bedfordshire. It has 19 beds.
Oakley Court houses two inpatient facilities, Ash (male) and Willow (female) wards, which are 19 and 11 bedded wards, respectively.
Oakley Court is part of a wide range of services available for people who require inpatient support and care with their mental health problems. The service aims to provide short and focused admissions in a 24 hour, seven day a week supportive and safe environment.
It also thrives to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with external organisations, stakeholders, statutory and non-statutory agencies which are there to support the patients on their journey to recovery.
As an inpatient care provider, the service focuses on the needs of the individual and provides care that is individualised and promotes recovery and inclusion.
