Bedford Adult Community Mental Health Team

CMHTs are split into two hubs called UNISE (BD PCN Unity MH and BD PCN East MH) and DECAR (BD PCN De Parys MH and BD PCN Caritas MH). You will know which team you are open to based on your GP practice.

We will support service users and their families, to meet health and social care needs by working in collaboration and promoting recovery.

The team works with a range of outside agencies to ensure appropriate opportunities are available to those using the service.

Each hub has a multi-disciplinary team which help with developing care and treatment plans. The includes, administrative workers, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, peer support workers, psychologists, pharmacists, social workers and carers support and service user support workers. As well as colleagues from the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and roles include social prescriber and community connectors.
