Getting Referred
We understand that accessing the right support is important during this challenging time. To access our services, please speak with your Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), who will discuss the referral process with you. Our specialist service is available for individuals aged 18 and over, along with their families and carers, who have a Bedfordshire or Luton GP.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept self-referrals.
If you or a family member are receiving cancer treatment outside of the area but have a Bedfordshire or Luton GP, you can still access our service through your GP. Please contact our team, and we will be happy to assist in arranging a referral with your GP.
Once we receive your referral, our Psychology service will be in touch to schedule an assessment appointment.

Before the referral can be accepted and any consultations provided, we kindly ask that you discuss it with the Macmillan Psychology Service in advance.
