Our Digital Journey
Over the past year, we’ve made real headway on our digital journey as a trust - from joining-up patient data with our partners in care, rolling out patient-held records in City & Hackney, to digitising our mental health act processes. Alongside these innovations, we’ve been building a strong foundation by improving our digital infrastructure. We’re making sure we have resilient systems and technology to support our staff in their work.
We have made great progress, but there is still a long way to go. With small improvements being made every day, it can be easy to lose sight of the bigger picture and forget the reason why we’re doing all this work – to improve care.

Digital transformation needs time and resource. To ensure we build a digital future that fits the needs of all, we’ll need collaboration between staff and service users, leaders and teams, and the Trust and our partners.
