Shared Care Records

Shared Care Records

As part of our digital journey as a Trust, we share records with the health and care providers that are directly involved in a service user's care.

By sharing care records, staff can deliver fast and frictionless care and patients can be sure that everyone involved in their care - their GP, hospital, community health, mental health and social care teams – are all up to speed.

What shared record systems do we use currently at ELFT?

We use a number of different systems that all work like glue to join-up the various health and care systems in operation across our two ICSs: North East London (NEL) and Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes (BLMK).

As a mental health trust spanning two ICSs, we need to ensure we are using the correct ‘glue’ to enable seamless collaboration with other services, whether that is locally, regionally, or nationally.

We use the following systems so we can work together with our ICS partners in North East London and Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes.
