The focus was on strengthening their professional identity, amplifying their collective voice, and exploring how they can contribute to delivering the new Trust Strategy.
The day included interactive workshops, reflective discussions, and creative exercises designed to build connections across teams. Colleagues explored common perceptions of psychological professions, discussed the power of a collective voice, and used innovative activities such as human sculptures to demonstrate how psychological expertise contributes to the Trust’s strategic priorities.
The afternoon focused on influencing and engagement, with staff taking part in power-mapping exercises and developing key messages for different audiences. Working alongside the Communications Team, participants also created video content to help showcase the impact of psychological professions across the Trust.
Ché Rosbert, Deputy Director of Psychological Professions, said, "The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect, celebrate achievements, and strengthen a shared commitment to improving care, advancing equity, supporting prevention, and making ELFT a great place to work. Feedback highlighted the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm of colleagues as they came together to shape the future of psychological professions within the Trust."
