Hannah wanted to raise money for the ELFT Charity to thank the Ocean Mental Health team who supported her with her second pregnancy. Hannah really valued the support given to her after the birth of her second child. Having her first baby during the COVID lockdown had a impact on how she coped and recovered afterwards. So she wanted to give something back by raising money for the ELFT Charity. This was her first organised run which she completed in 2 hours and 50 minutes.
Carla is a recent convert to running. She undertook the Couch to 5k NHS running programme just five years ago to help her to move, get fitter and to cope with the stress of the COVID pandemic. This led her to taking part in Triathlons where she would run, swim and cycle. This was just her second half marathon. She said she loves to just 'get in the zone' when running.
It's not too late to help Carla and Hannah jointly reach £1000.

The ELFT Charity is grateful to them both for interrupting their family time on the Bank Holiday weekend to raise money for the charity. The charity supports projects and initiatives that support people who use ELFT services. You can find out more about the ELFT Charity here
