On 26 September 2025, Health E1 Medical Centre, part of East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT), hosted the event, which welcomed around 100 visitors for a day of health checks, warm meals, and essential supplies.
The fair offered free health assessments, haircuts, and wellbeing advice, alongside warm clothing, long-life food, toiletries, and sanitary products. Attendees were also able to connect with support services offering help with housing, employment, and benefits.
The event was delivered in partnership with Tower Hamlets Council, Reset, East End Health Network, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), City and Hive, St Joseph’s Hospice, Providence Row (Dellow Centre), Jobcentre Plus, and Rough Sleeper Mental Health Team (RAMHP), demonstrating a strong community commitment to supporting those most in need.
Local business City Hive generously donated a substantial delivery of food, toiletries, and pet supplies as part of its ongoing support for the community, marking the third consecutive year of collaboration with ELFT services in Tower Hamlets.
“This event is about much more than providing services, it’s about showing people that they are seen, valued, and cared for,” said Irfaan Ibne, Associate Director of Primary Care at ELFT.
“We’re incredibly grateful to all our partners for helping us make a difference, year after year.”
Health E1 specialises in supporting people experiencing homelessness, including those in temporary accommodation or unable to register with a GP.
