Get Involved

There are many ways of how you can get involved with the East London NHS Foundation Trust - Butabika Hospital link.

The volunteer programme within East London NHS Foundation Trust has been in existence since 2008 and is constantly increasing the range of volunteering roles within mental health and community health.

Volunteering is a great way to develop your skills and experience to support your career aspirations and to do something meaningful and interesting in your free time to help others.

For example, our first long term volunteer (Occupational Therapist Louise Blanks) self funded a 9 month placement in Uganda and several long term volunteers since 2008.

In 2008, the Butabika Link became the first NHS Link to support UK service users to go to the linking country on exchange.
