East London NHS Foundation Trust has invested in the link in a number of ways. After formalising the Link at an executive level in 2004, it has developed governance structures with some of its most senior staff on the Global Health Partnership Committee (led by the then Trust Chair Baroness Molly Meacher), in 2007 provided financial 'pump priming' and ongoing 'in kind' support for Link activity. ensured supportive leave arrangements for staff on exchange and some staffing cost.
