KOOTH is a free, safe and anonymous online counselling service for young people aged 10-16. It provides support from qualified counsellors via mobile, tablet and desktop computer. Young people can access support directly without needing a referral by joining KOOTH online at www.kooth.com. You can request to be allocated to a specific counsellor and meet with the same person regularly for your sessions online. They also have regular events and groups you can join online and have lots of resources for you to read through that young people tend to find really helpful.
We also encourage parents to read through the website’s ‘parent/carer section’ with lots of useful tips and information on how to best support your child with specific difficulties.

The Mix is a UK based charity that provides free, confidential support for young people under 25 via online, social and mobile. They have a crisis messenger service, web chat, discussion boards and helpful articles. They also offer a free short term counselling service to under 25 year olds.
