Support for Parents and Carers: Digital Audio Library
A growing collection of audio guides created by CAMHS clinicians to support parents and carers of young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Caring for a young person who is struggling with their mental health can be emotionally demanding and, at times, isolating. Our Digital Audio Library has been developed to offer clear, compassionate support whenever you need it.
Each audio guide is written and produced by CAMHS clinicians and is designed to help you understand your child’s needs, manage difficult moments, and look after your own wellbeing.
As a start, we are pleased to announce we have written and published two guides to support both parents and young people to better understand how to manage sleep difficulties. Both are designed to compliment each other and support you and your child to understand the connection between the teen brain, the environment and how this affects sleep.
The library will continue to grow as new topics are added, shaped by the experiences and feedback of parents and carers.
