An expanding number of Physician Associates (PAs) are supporting a range of services across the Trust, writes ELFT Lead for PAs Marie-Louise Turner. 

On Thursday 13 October, ELFT's Academy of Lived Experience (ALE) hosted a simulation training co-production event at Trust HQ in collaboration with ELFT's Medical Education team.

A Trust service user, a consultant psychiatrist and two ELFT teams have been shortlisted for the 2022 Royal College of Psychiatrists Awards.

Prof Frank Rohricht , Medical Director for Research, Innovation & Medical Education presented his research including new projects on embodied, experiential learning at the Oxford Summer School for Philosophy and Psychiatry.

Congratulations to CAMHS Psychiatrist, Dr Helen Bruce,  who has been awarded a Royal College of Psychiatry President's Medal for her contribution to medical training and the 'Choose Psychiatry' campaign which reversed dwindling recruitment numbers to fill all psych training posts.
