Do you need some emotional support?

We offer free confidential psychological support to the residents of Newham. Newham Talking Therapies provides NHS psychological therapies to help with common mental health challenges. We will help with a range of problems such as anxiety and depression by providing a range of different types of psychological support. 


Accessing Newham Talking Therapies

Taking the first step to receive help, is probably the biggest step!

If you are struggling, need some guidance or just need some ideas to help your mental health, then take the first step by completing our online self-referral formOnce completed one of our team will be in touch to book you an assessment with one of practitioners.

We offer many different types of therapies and we offer a range of ways to to receive support such as online vide, telephone, typed, groups and face to face support. We also offer online platforms and apps for you to access flexibly.

Group therapy is a wonderful unique experience! We have the ability to work with others who are experiencing similar challenges. Sometimes working as a team can be a great learning experience.

We run groups around many challenges, such as chronic worry, social anxiety, self esteem, trauma, domestic violence, depression and many more!

People Participation is about helping service users and their carers to have a say in how we run the service. Service users help guide our strategy, co-produce our treatments and help us recruit the best therapists possible.
