Parent groups

It’s important to us to support parents by running routine parent groups. These provide a chance for parent networks, shared experiences and learning, input from guest, expert speakers and most importantly give you a chance to feedback to us about your journey and work with us to shape services for our children and young people.

Child Development Services Support Group: First Friday of the month from 10:00 – 11:30 at West Ham Lane Health Centre, 84 West Ham Lane, E15 4PT

This session is run by the Specialist Health Visitors and is for all parents/careers of children with additional needs and/or disabilities.

We provide sessions co-facilitated by parents, assisted by our Patient Participation Lead and Clinicians as required, based upon the forum topic.  Sessions are largely held online, providing parents/carers with a space to share stories and listen.  Sessions may be based upon a particular topic, for example, how to improve services, or to assist in the review of documentation to our service users.  To get involved, please complete this form.

For further information on either group, please contact elft.scypsparticipation@nhs.net
