Adult Autism Diagnostic Service (Bedfordshire)
Within Bedfordshire and Luton we provide specialist clinical assessment and advice for adults (17+ years), suspected as having an (undiagnosed) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and seeking diagnostic clarity.
As part of our assessment pathway we will provide advice and/or support to access other services appropriate to individual need; these may include Health, Social Care or support groups.
The service operates on a multi-disciplinary model of local and community-based assessment, working alongside other Health Services (specialist & primary care), Local Authorities, independent and voluntary services.
Please note: we are not commissioned or resourced to provide therapeutic interventions or support for autistic people (those with an established ASD diagnosis).
