Talking therapies can help all sorts of people in lots of different situations. You may also hear them referred to as counselling, talking treatments, or psychological therapies.

Talking therapy is for anyone who’s going through a bad time or has emotional problems they need help with.

Group therapy

"I found the group beneficial, it definitely helped me gain a healthier perspective on my mental health struggles and realise others had some of the same issues as me. I was looking forward to for ways to deal with depressive episodes and having a more positive outlook in general and I feel like the group has helped with that."

I couldn’t not sleep I was constantly fatigued; I don’t mean tired I mean so shattered that having a shower wiped me out and I would have to go to bed. I was unable to do anything for myself or in the house. Every part of my body was in pain and I was severely depressed. I started CBT therapy."
